Some words about me
My musical background is varied. I started out playing the guitar in several bands as a teenager, but then decided to study classical and contemporary composition at the conservatory. When composing I enjoy combining contrasting elements, such as melody and noise, or using sounds and musical styles outside of their usual context and purpose. In the last years I have become passionate about synths and electronics but I always like writing and studying scores. Some of my favorite composers are Bach, Palestrina, Poulenc, Puccini, Ives, Ravel, Reich, Morricone, Messiaen...
I live in Berlin where I work as composer, sound designer and music teacher. I have taken part mainly in film projects and also in a few theater ones. What I enjoyed most about these experiences was the dialogue with the director and the team members to reach a better result together. This always helped me improve and notice things I wouldn't have seen by myself.
When I have free time I also like driving my cousin's Ape Car.

Swan Lake Avantgardee (excerpt)
Combination of elements of the Swan Lake with experimental improvisational sounds. Written for a dancing scene of the movie, with:

Film description: the film explores a perception of the self through relationships. A protagonist drifts between two realities, which gradually intertwine. One of them is shaped by the element of water, inspiring the title and underlying sonic themes.

Le domande di Aldo (Aldo's questions)
For saxophone quartet and electronics.
This piece is the representation of a prize game where the players are getting crazy trying to guess the questions. The tape is leading and presenting the game and the saxophone players are the participants. They don't know who Aldo is and where this game is coming from, they just go crazy every time a new question arrives.
